I am so disappointed with this organization. I would try to call, for days on end, and no one answers the phone. They say not to leave a message unless its regarding certain things, and to go online to book your appointment. I did already book my IPL online, however, it says specifically on the website to book your free CONSULTATION OVER THE PHONE, but when they don't pick up the phone, how are you to do that. I emailed them with the address they provided - no answer. So I called against their request and left a voicemail, and they called back saying "book it online" and I told them there was no place to book a consultation, but she wouldn't hear any of it and said "well that's what you've got to do". I am so upset with this company. Either have a Receptionist or don't, not someone who is no help at all. If I didn't have a Groupon to spend here, I would head back to my regular BELLA SANTE - they are what you call GREAT SERVICE.
I had a number of problems with not only the school but also with their professionalism.
Number 1 . I signed up for a nail tech course with a post dated chq to hold my place and they processed it before the date.
Number2 . I decided to give the school a shot before the nail course and walked in to students wearing very unappealing , over worn scrubs. And looked nothing to represent the beauty industry.
Number 3 my pedicure was done by a student where the instructor did not take the time to give my feet a good check and make sure everything was done right. Therefor I later realized I was given an infection and had to go antibotics.
Number 4 I contacted the school with my concerns and was given the " accidents happen" line by the owner and she totally down played my concerns and offered me nothing until I later demanded a refund. The owner was far from professional and I will never go to this place ever again and will tell ever one I know about my issues with spa academy.
I just picked out my wedding dress at Jenny's, during my second trip there, I am so excited! The lady who helped me was really kind and helpful. I showed her a style I wanted and she found 4 or 5 dresses that were similar, in a variety of prices. She never made me second guess my decisions or what I liked, she was really encouraging. The price of the dress I want is higher then I wanted to pay, but I love it so much I kind of don't care any more. I did have good service and I enjoyed the experience!
Such beautiful dresses, smaller selection then some stores but much better quality, and lots of unique designs.
The store itself was beautiful, I bought before they closed their doors, and have since received my dress with very little problem.
The staff was great, and I loved that the owner was there to give her opinion and suggestions when I was shopping.
I haven't seen another store with such amazing jewellery, and accesories. I loved the vintage jewellery you can rent for your occasion and I heard that the profit from goes to charity. I don't think any other store does that.
I look forward to them reopening and I will DEFINATELY recommend this store to anyone looking for a dress, or accessories.
They closed their doors on January 4th and keep telling people they are coming back but they have not called many of thier customers who have outstanding orders and they have disconnected their phones. They have been having financial difficulty for at least a year and many people are not getting the dresses they paid for. They are being denied credit and samples from a number of designers. Be very careful if they do ever open back up. The owner is very rude and is very catty when questioned. Not a recommended place to shop
I ordered a bridesmaid dress and paid a 50% deposit eight months ago and it is still not in. Repeated phone calls to the staff and manager have went nowhere. The manager insists the owner is checking in with the designer but I have yet to get a call from the owner with an update. I keep getting the same excuse from the store - that the designer makes them based on wedding dates. How close to the wedding are we going to get? I am increasingly worried that the bride, who ordered her $2000 gown there, isn't going to get her dress. I am overly concerned because only two months ago an acquaintence of mine got the same run around and her dress never arrived. The store did nothing to rectify the situation and did not entirely refund her deposit.
I love getting my hair done by Cheryl. She takes her time to do it right, and she isnt cheap with her products.
Overall we had an enjoyable meal at Otowa. The service was prompt and knew when to give us time to look at the many choices. The food was very good, the price was on par with most sushi restaurants. There weren't many people in the restaurant and the atmosphere was pleasant.
It was a nice place and the food was good, but the prices seemed really high.
The sales ladies were friendly but useless. They were never there to help when they said they would be, had to do everything ourselves. Then she asked us a direct question and while we were answering she just walked away.
The selection was very good I will give them that.
Having display model sizes of 7 and 11 are ok, but some people can't try those on, you wont sell it if they can't see it on themselves.
She didn't bother to try to find out what we were looking for and wasn't very accomodating.... I wasn't impressed with them.
